Visiting Rules for the Historical Museum in Sanok
§ 1
Visits to the Historical Museum in Sanok take place during the hours set by the Museum Director.
Visitors must leave the museum exhibitions no later than the Museum’s closing time; 30 minutes before closing time, further visitors may not be admitted to the premises.
Detailed information regarding the Museum’s opening hours and admission prices is available at the Museum ticket office and on the Museum’s website.
Documents entitling the holder to a reduced-price ticket or free admission must be presented to the ticket clerk before purchasing a ticket.
The Museum doors may be closed if the number of people permitted on the premises (250) is exceeded, in accordance with fire safety regulations.
In the situation referred to in point 5, visitors will be issued with entry numbers, and entry will be permitted once the same number of visitors have left.
In the event of a fire or other emergency, please follow the instructions of Museum staff and evacuate via the marked escape routes.
§ 2
Visitors must follow the tour route indicated by the arrows.
If you are taking a guided tour, please wait for the guide in the lobby.
Parents or guardians are responsible for the behaviour of their children or charges.
Persons under the influence of alcohol will not be admitted to the premises.
In the event of disruptive behaviour, Museum staff are authorised to call security.
Outerwear, rucksacks, umbrellas and other items, with the exception of valuables, must be left in the cloakroom by the ticket office on the provided coat hangers.
The Museum accepts no liability for valuables left in rucksacks, outerwear or other items left in the cloakroom.
§ 3
Photography and filming (without the use of a flash) are permitted free of charge.
§ 4
The following are prohibited within the museum exhibition area:
photographing exhibits using a flash,
smoking cigarettes and using open flames,
bringing in and consuming food and drink, with the exception of bottled drinks,
bringing in weapons and tools that pose a threat to life and health,
talking on mobile phones whilst viewing the exhibition,
leaning on or touching exhibits,
bringing animals into the museum (with the exception of guide dogs, assistance dogs, and animals that pose no threat to others and can be carried in the visitor’s arms or in containers designed for this purpose).
§ 5
A video surveillance system is in operation within the Museum buildings and on the grounds surrounding them, including the castle courtyard. The processing of personal data in the form of images recorded by the CCTV system will be carried out in accordance with the following principles:
